The official website and Twitter account for the television anime of Sōichirō Yamamoto‘s In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki (Kunoichi Tsubaki no Mune no Uchi) manga posted the anime’s second full promotional video and second key seen (by CloverWorks) on Wednesday. The video previews the opening theme tune “Highlight – Highlight” by The Peggies, and it pronounces further staff members and the April 9 premiere for the anime.


The newly launched staff members are:

Yousuke Okuda (Is the order a rabbit?) is designing the characters. Yūsuke Shirato (Kochoki, Lost Song) is composing the music.

Female rock band The Peggies perform the opening “Highlight – Highlight.”

Aniplex is recruiting composers and artists to provide completely completely different variations of the ending theme tune “Akane-gumi Katsudо̄ Nisshi ~Inuhan~.” Winners receive 90,000 yen (about US$795), and their theme tune variation could be featured on the current. The voice actors perform all variations of the ending theme.

Yamamoto’s manga launched in Gessan (Monthly Shonen Sunday) journal in January 2018. Shogakukan revealed the manga’s sixth amount on November 12.

Yamamoto launched the Teasing Master Takagi-san manga in Gessan mini, the accompanying booklet to Shogakukan‘s Gessan (Monthly Shonen Sunday) journal, in 2013.
