Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform debuted a brand‑new manga by creator Kuroha on May 9. The title, SATANICA, follows the misadventures of a high‑school occult‑research club.
Story Synopsis (MANGA Plus)
Machino and her friends are hard at work on their occult research again today. But one day, the student council tells them that their club is being disbanded… Determined to save their club, they set out on a mission toward revival! Eating snacks, chatting, and summoning demons whenever they have time. A laid‑back, heart‑warming comedy about an occult research club!

Kuroha’s Manga History
- 2011‑2014: Created Kitakubu Katsudō Kiroku (also known as Chronicles of the Going Home Club) for Square Enix’s Gangan Online. The series concluded with its fifth volume in July 2014.
- 2013: The manga received a TV anime adaptation, streamed by Crunchyroll and later licensed for North American home video release by NIS America (March 2015).
- 2022‑2024: Launched Datenshi‑ron (Fallen Angel Theory) in Shueisha’s Jump SQ.. The series wrapped up in its third compiled volume, released March 2024.
