Crunchyroll Manga Expands Library with 23 Kodansha USA Titles and Dricam!! from Shueisha

Crunchyroll announced a partnership with Kodansha USA to bring a batch of classic manga titles from Kodansha’s back‑catalog to the Crunchyroll Manga app on May 18. On the same day the service will also add You Chiba’s Dricam!! from Shueisha.

History of Crunchyroll’s manga offerings
Crunchyroll first introduced a manga service in October 2013, simul‑publishing titles from Kodansha USA in more than 170 countries. The service removed several titles in 2018 and saw a larger pull‑back of Kodansha catalog titles in early 2023, citing changes to its simul‑pub distribution program. The original service was discontinued in December 2023, making this new launch a fresh start for the platform.
