The weekly Japanese television animation ratings for the week of July 13 through July 19 featured several special broadcasts across the major networks.
Leading the week was “The Kingdom -Shin to Ō Ki to Shogun to-” one night special, which commemorated the latest Kingdom live-action film. The program aired on Nippon Television (NTV) on Friday, July 17 at 9:00 p.m. JST and earned a 7.0% household rating.
Also on Friday, July 17, the second part of the 2025 “Soreike! Anpanman: Chapon no Hero!” anime film aired on NTV at 10:55 a.m. JST, receiving a 2.0% rating.
On Saturday, July 18, Katsuhiro Ōtomo’s landmark film “Akira” aired on NHK Educational at 2:00 p.m. JST, earning a 1.0% rating.
