Japanese series debuting on June 11 also reveals more cast members
Netflix has dropped the main trailer and key art for its upcoming live‑action adaptation of the popular webtoon Viral Hit (original title : Kenka Dokugaku). The announcement also confirms several new cast additions.
Trailer overview
The trailer follows high‑school student Kota Shimura, who is driven to the edge by bullying and poverty. He teaches himself to fight, rising to fame through live‑streamed street battles. The clip showcases gritty fight scenes and the chaotic world of online notoriety, featuring a mysterious mentor wearing a chicken mask.
Key visual
The new key art depicts Shimura raising his fist alongside key characters: allies Aki Yashio and Kanegon, and heroine Kaho Asamiya.

Webtoon background
The series began in Korea in November 2019, was released in English on WEBTOON in October 2020, and has been serialized on the LINE Manga app in Japan since 2020. It has amassed 2.28 billion global views, with over 500 million views in Japan alone. A TV anime adaptation aired in 2024 and is streamed worldwide by Crunchyroll.

Viral Hit will premiere globally on Netflix on June 11. Fans can read the English version of the webtoon on WEBTOON.
