Classroom for Heroes Manga’s Final Volume Ships This Winter

The 23rd compiled volume of Koara Kishida‘s manga adaptation of Shin Araki and Haruyuki Morisawa‘s light novel series Classroom For Heroes (also known as Hero Classroom or Eiyū Kyōshitsu) was announced on Tuesday. The final volume is slated to ship this winter.
Comikey is releasing the manga digitally in English under the title Hero Classroom. The publisher describes the story as follows:
Long ago, a Great Hero defeated the Demon King and brought peace to the world. To maintain that peace, Rosewood Academy was established to nurture heroes‑in‑training. Transfer student Blade is a carefree boy whose only goal is to make friends at his new school. On the surface, Blade seems ordinary, but he hides a miserable secret. Join Blade’s friends as they unravel the mystery surrounding him and embark on their journey to become full‑fledged Heroes!
Kishida launched the manga in Square Enix’s Monthly Shōnen Gangan magazine in September 2016.
The original light novel series began in January 2015, illustrated by Morisawa. Its 15th volume shipped in December 2023. Yen Press is publishing the light novels in English and released the sixth volume on April 14.
Before Kishida’s main adaptation, Takashi Minakuchi launched the spinoff manga Eiyū Kyōshitsu – Honoo no Empress in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump (February 2015 – August 2015).
The light novel inspired a television anime that premiered in July 2023. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.
