New Cast Member Joins “Go for It, Nakamura!”
Shōya Chiba has been added to the Go for It, Nakamura! anime as Arandō Tamura, the director and screenwriter of Hoshimi High School’s drama and film club. Tamura will appear in episode 7, which airs on Wednesday.

- Episodes 1‑2 were released early on Hulu (April 1, 24:30) and then stream a week ahead of the Japanese TV broadcast.

Manga Background
Seven Seas licensed the original romantic‑comedy BL manga. The story follows shy Nakamura, who falls instantly for his classmate Hirose—yet they haven’t even met, and his clumsy nature threatens to ruin any chance.
Created by Syundei, the manga debuted as a short in Opera (Akaneshinsha) in December 2014, later becoming a regular series in June 2015. A compiled volume was released in May 2017. A sequel, Go for It Again, Nakamura!, started in June 2017, with its volume published in August 2021; Seven Seas also licensed the sequel.
Syundei recently deleted their X (formerly Twitter) account after dealing with alleged online harassment related to the series’ illustrations.
