Mona is the cutest girl in school, and she knows it. She’s worked hard to make a splash during her high‑school debut, but no matter what she does, she can’t break through the stone‑cold stare of Medaka Kuroiwa. Medaka, raised in a temple, was taught never to get close to women. Who will win this heated battle of wills?
Background
The manga, written and illustrated by Ran Kuze, began as a one‑shot in Weekly Shōnen Magazine (December 2020) before launching as a full series in May 2021. The first anime season aired in January 2025, streamed worldwide by Crunchyroll and later received an English dub.
Kodansha USA publishes the manga in English, both digitally and in print. The 24th compiled volume is scheduled for release on May 15 2026.
