Story Synopsis

Katrina, the illegitimate daughter of a count and his maid, lives in squalor. After her mother’s death, her step‑sister and step‑mother treat her even worse. In the cold northern lands, Katrina meets the rumored “cruel” prince—only to discover a kinder heart than expected. Can pure‑hearted Katrina find love amid the icy winds?

The original story debuted on the Shōsetsu ni Narō platform in July 2023, later adapted into manga by Funguild under its Comic Spira label (January 2025).
