Talentless Nana Manga Nears Its End

The June issue of Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan announced that Talentless Nana (Munō na Nana) will conclude after just two more chapters. Assuming no further delays, the series is slated to finish in July.
English Release
Square Enix’s Manga UP! Global is publishing the manga in English. The service describes the story as follows:
“An academy on an island surrounded by impassable waters trains students to battle humanity’s enemies. A newly transferred student joins with the goal of eradicating all threats to humankind. An unpredictable, intellectual suspense tale of justice versus evil.”
Publication History
- Looseboy and Furuya launched the series in Monthly Shonen Gangan in May 2016.
- The 14th tankōbon volume was released in December 2025.
- Crunchyroll originally offered the English digital version before ending its manga service in December 2023.
- Square Enix’s Manga UP! Global resumed digital releases shortly thereafter.
Anime Adaptation
The manga inspired a TV anime that aired in October 2020. Funimation streamed the series as it aired in Japan and later released it on Blu‑ray in February 2022.
