The official site for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for The Throne (light novel series by Tanba and Yuunagi) has released its first promotional video and announced four new voice actors.

Synopsis (from Kadokawa)
Arnold, the seventh Imperial Prince of the Adrasia Empire, is nicknamed “THE INSIPID PRINCE” because his twin brother is a celebrated genius. Secretly, Arnold is “SILVER,” one of the continent’s five elite SS‑rank adventurers. When his younger brother Leo eyes the throne, Arnold covertly pulls the strings to aid him—until a beautiful lady becomes his unexpected aide, sparking a hidden power struggle.
Production background
The web novel began on Shōsetsuka ni Narō on 3 February 2019. Kadokawa’s Sneaker Bunko imprint released the first light‑novel volume in September 2019; the 16th volume arrived on 1 April 2026. The manga adaptation, illustrated by Yukino Amagai, started on Kadokawa’s Young Ace Up platform and reached its ninth volume on 10 November 2025.
Release schedule
The series is slated to debut on television in July 2026.
