Exstetra RPG’s HD Remaster Releases on Steam in English on July 30

FuRyu announced on Saturday that the HD remaster of its fantasy RPG Exstetra will hit PC via Steam in English on July 30. As part of the reveal, the company streamed the game’s opening cinematic.
The company also disclosed that ports for the Nintendo Switch 2, the original Switch, and PlayStation 5 are currently in development.
According to the Steam store page, the game will feature an interface and subtitles in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese, with Japanese‑language audio. The page also notes that “some specifications differ from the original version.”
A fantasy RPG where a kiss saves the world.
EXSTETRA is set in “Amazea,” a Tokyo merged with another realm and doomed to collapse.
It follows Ryoma, a high‑school student chosen as the “Prisma” to confront the impending apocalypse.
Along the way, Ryoma awakens “Prisma Knights” – companions sharing his destiny – by giving them a kiss and sets off on a joint adventure.
The voice cast includes:
- Yūichi Nakamura as Ryoma
- Kaori Ishihara as Shiho
- Yōko Hikasa as Mizuki
- Takuya Eguchi as Masaru
- Aya Endō as Selene
- Yūki Ono as Jin
- Yui Ogura as Akari
- Ai Kayano as Kotone
The title originally launched in Japan in November 2013 for PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS. Its theme song was performed by ClariS, while the main theme was composed by Yōko Shimomura. Character designs were handled by Tony and Katsumi Enami, with Minat as the overall character designer and Tokyo Gensō responsible for the art direction.
This marks the first official English release of the game.
